The particle で marks the location where an action takes place and the means or method used to do something.

Explanation
The particle で has two primary uses at the N5 level: marking the location of an action and indicating the means or method.
For location, で marks where an action happens: '図書館で勉強します' (I study at the library). This is different from に, which marks where something exists. Compare: '図書館に本があります' (There are books in the library — existence) vs '図書館で本を読みます' (I read books at the library — action).
For means/method, で indicates what tool, language, or vehicle is used: 'バスで行きます' (I go by bus), '日本語で話します' (I speak in Japanese), 'はしで食べます' (I eat with chopsticks).

Toshokan de benkyou shimasu.
I study at the library.
